Overview

How can I pay less tax as a newcomer to Spain?

Spain has a special tax deal for people who recently moved here - it's called the "Beckham Law" (named after the footballer). Instead of paying progressive tax rates up to 47%, you can pay a flat 24% on your Spanish income for up to 6 years.

Even better: under this regime, you only pay tax on income you earn IN Spain - not on money you make from other countries. This is huge for people with investments, rental income, or side income from abroad.

To qualify, you can't have lived in Spain for the past 5 years, and you need to be moving here for work (employment, starting a business, or as a digital nomad). We'll help you figure out if you qualify and handle the application.
